Giant's Castle Camp Accommodation

Giants Castle Camp’s two bed chalets have bathrooms en-suite, with shower over bath, separate vanity and basin, a lounge/dining area and fully appointed kitchen, veranda or deck with barbecue (braai) stand.

The four bed chalets have two bedrooms, a bathroom, a lounge/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen.

The six-bed chalets have three bedrooms, one shower over bath room (separate toilet), a lounge/dining area and a fully appointed kitchen. There is a veranda with barbecue (braai) unit.

The Honeymoon Suite, known as "Bride's Bush" has a double bed, in a private setting with romantic views of the mountains.

A three bedroomed Lodge, each bedroom with bathroom en suite is luxuriously appointed with large lounge/dining area, veranda with braai area has mountain views. The tariff includes the services of a caretaker who may assist in meal preparation (office hours only).

Breakfast is included with all of the above Chalet accommodation and dinner can be added as an optional extra.

Izimbali restaurant and bar provides guests with the option of fully catered meals in its warm and relaxed atmosphere. Bring own liquor.

Giant's Castle Game Reserve in the central region of the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park takes its name from the silhouette of the peaks and escarpment that resemble the profile of a sleeping giant.

Wild flowers of the Drakensberg is the design theme of Giant's Castle Camp and Rock Lodge with original botanical paintings featuring in all the chalets and lodge buildings.

Superb rock art is high among its special attractions. The renowned two vulture restaurant hides are open all year for visitors to watch bearded vultures and other endangered species feeding. The Lammergeier Hide, now known as the ‘Vulture Hide Restaurant’ is ideal for photographers. 4x4 is needed to access these hides.

Visit the Main Caves Museum for a fascinating insight into the past lifestyle of the San people with guided interpretation and a realistic life-sized diorama set in Main Cave.

Giant's Castle has Bannerman’s Hut which sleeps eight and provides opportunities to climb up various passes onto the top of the Drakensberg range.
