• These are independent stand alone accommodation units.
• The camps are equipped with cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, bed linen and bath towels.
• A gas fridge and stove are provided with cooking also possible over an open fire.
• Guests are required to do your own cooking.
• Gas lighting and hot water.
• The Ithala bush camps accommodate four, eight or ten guests respectively.
• The camps are constructed of wooden frame and decks with reed walls under thatch.
• These camps are situated away from other tourist areas and give residents complete privacy.
• Each Bush Camp may only be booked by a single party at a time.
• High ground clearance vehicle recomended.

Mbizo Bush Camp
Ithala Game Reserve, KwaZulu-Natal

• Mbizo Bush Camp is situated at a point where the Thalu stream has a series of rapids and wide pools on its descent to the Thalu River, the Mbizo bush camp has been located to give guests the best vistas of the surrounding area.
• Mbizo Camp accommodates eight guests in two separate four bed units, each having two rooms, one with a double bed and the other two single beds.
• Each unit has separate shower and toilet facilities.
• A communal braai and campfire area is situated between the two units.

Mhlangeni Bush Camp
Ithala Game Reserve, KwaZulu-Natal

• From its vantage point on a rocky knoll overlooking the Ncence River, Mhlangeni Bush Camp offers guests complete privacy and solitude in an idyllic setting.
• Mhlangeni has five two-bed units.
• There are three bathroom facilities with flush toilets.
• The communal lounge/dining-room/kitchen area is set above a sun deck and barbecue (braai) area providing excellent game-viewing opportunities.
• Mhlangeni Bush Camp is set amongst the large boulders of one of the many granite outcrops in the Ithala Game Reserve.

Thalu Bush Camp
Ithala Game Reserve, KwaZulu-Natal

• Thalu Bush Camp located at the foot of a steep slope on the banks of the Thalu River, this camp accommodates four guests in two bedrooms, these situated on either side of the central lounge and dining area.
• One of the bedrooms has a double bed, the other two single beds.
• There is a rather rustic shower and flush toilet.
• The design of the bush camp incorporates picture windows which give the impression of being "right in the bush".
• There is a barbecue, (braai) area built above a pool in the river.
