
Ghost Mountain Inn

Legend has it that ghosts still appear near the summit, in caves where selected deceased from a battle at the foot of the mountain were buried, The Battle of Tshaneni.
Accommodation
Relax in one of the 50 tastefully appointed bedrooms, each with private bathrooms en suite. The rooms are air-conditioned, have a tea station, bar fridge, television, telephone and hair dryer.
The Ghost Mountain Inn has an excellent kitchen, offering delicious cuisine and efficient friendly service in either the air-conditioned restaurant or on the terrace overlooking the gardens and swimming pool.
There are two pubs, the newer Tshaneni and Mtwazi, the original pub from when the inn was built in 1962.

The Ghost Mountain Inn caters for conferences with programmes tailor-made to suit various events in the Ndumo Conference Centre and Board Room. For weddings, the lush garden is a beautiful venue.

Situated in northern KwaZulu-Natal, the hotel is within easy reach of some of the game and coastal reserves in Zululand, Maputaland and on the Elephant Coast.
The Ghost Mountain Safari company offers a variety of guided tours to explore this interesting region, a variety of game drives, birding, hikes, tiger fishing, boat rides and Zulu cultural trips.
More distant there is St Lucia where one is able to cruise on the estuary, take a deep sea fishing or whale watching tour.

For those travelling to Mozambique, Swaziland or between Kruger Park and Durban, Ghost Mountain Inn makes an excellent overnight venue or comfortable venue from which to explore the region.
